Mariesa Earl

Maid of Honor

My first best friend, my twin, my BIGGEST SISTER! Ever since I was born I knew I would be looked after, cared for and protected for life. There is no bond like the bond I share with my sisters. We have been through everything together; the good, the bad and the ugly. But God makes no mistakes and He blessed me with the best, most caring, and compassionate sister I could've ever asked for. I couldn't love a human being more. My Sheesha!

Erica Jackson

Matron of Honor

My other big sister, my built in best friend! If you know Erica, you know she has the sweetest and most tender soul. A kind and generous heart that has no limits for the people she loves. How lucky am I to have a sister like that? She loves me through every trial and tribulation, like the one time I stabbed her in the leg with a freshly sharpened pencil when I was young!

Jacklin Nared-Hairston

Bridesmaid

My Soulmate in friendship form! We met in the 6th grade at basketball practice and have been inseparable ever since! The one woman in my life who knows every detail about me, can finish my sentences and who I genuinely can not live without. I still do not understand how we can talk on the phone, EVERYDAY, for multiple hours and still have things to say to each other? I truly cherish and thank God for the friendship I have with Jacklin.

Janita Badon

Bridesmaid

Janita Badon is one of the most caring and selfless people I have ever met in my life and I am lucky enough to have her as one of my best and closest friends. Not only does she immediately put a smile on my face or make me laugh until my stomach cramps but I know, without a doubt, she would do any and everything for me! Since high School, for forever!

Amber Thompson

Bridesmaid

My Sun Devil Sister! Shortly after meeting in college, we came to find out we were the same person. Sharing a love for tacos and wine, with the same Panda Express order (beef and broccoli, hold the broccoli). Amber is fun. So fun. She is one of my FAVORITE people to spend time with, as there is never a dull moment between us. From her bubbly personality to her kind heart, I am lucky to have crossed paths with Amber Rae!

Jessica Kunz

Bridesmaid

The most beautiful human inside and out (seriously) and I get to call her a friend! When God introduced me to Jess shortly after college, I immediately knew she would be in my life forever. How did we even become friends? I don't know but it was instant. And it's been AWESOME. Not only will she break out in a dance routine with me but Jess has had such a positive impact on me as a woman. Truly, one of my biggest blessings!

Tina Bruton

Bridesmaid

Mrs. Tina Bruton! Tina, the one who I can call at 5:00pm and say "Get dressed, we're going to dinner" Or "I just got paid, meet me at the mall". My always down for whatever, where ever! But most importantly, the always there for me whenever I need ANYTHING friend. Tina has been my saving grace here in Colorado and boy have I needed her a time or twenty.

Courtney Sayler

Bridesmaid

Where do I even start with Courtney Anne Sayler? My 'Cooty'! When you meet someone in the 6th grade, you think of all the incredible memories you share and you immediately start to smile. Our best times together? Can't pick one. We were literally children when we met! From soccer to basketball practice, boys to hoop dances (we won't go into detail on the hoop dances) and 50 cent chocolate sundaes at Shari's to having our own families. Life events wouldn't be the same without this woman!

Kaitlin Wade

Bridesmaid

AAU basketball in middle school introduced me to some of my best friends. Katy being one of them. There was a point in time when we were absolutely inseparable. From middle school through High School, there was no Alex without Katy! As we know, life goes on and we attended different colleges but ultimately we have never missed a beat. Katy has always remained one of my most special friends and confidants. Present through every major life event, of course a bridesmaid being one of them!

Keneth Huckabay

Best Man

I met Kenny a few years ago when Alex and I moved into our new neighborhood. Ken and I INSTANTLY became best friends. We soon realized that in every social environment we were in together, we were always the smartest, funniest, best looking and most successful people. Literally, ying and yang. The salt to my pepper. The bananas in my banana split. To this day, people still hate on our relationship but its only for us to understand and that's O.K. I love you Ken. PS, Alex didn't approve of this description. She's a hater.

Jordan Washington

Groomsman

Jordan is the oldest brother of mine. Who is also, by far, the meanest brother of mine. When we were kids we were on bunkbeds and he pushed me off the top onto a tonka truck. I started crying. He told me to shut up before he got a whooping. A few years later, he drank the last bit of my milk before school and told me to use water instead. Nonetheless, he has always been the one person to be there for me through the good and the bad. Even if he is the most annoying Buckeye Fan.

Alex Williamson

Groomsman

Alex and I met in High School when I transferred to Marlington. Him and I have been close all through out High School and to this day. Alex runs my non profit organization for me and does a great job. He has always been a role model I have looked up to on and off the football field and I am grateful to have him in my life!

Desmond Gattis

Groomsman

My partner in crime. My cousin/barber/rapper/trapper. No in all seriousness, Des is the family member I've always been grateful for because he's always been there for me. He use to clean my apartment and car at 6:00am when he would visit from Ohio. Dope, right? Usually when you see him you see me. And that's how it will be the weekend of the wedding!

Jayron Thomas

Groomsman

This is the youngest of 7 and I am so proud of the young man he has become. Jayron has always wanted to be himself and follow his own path and dreams in life. He use to always look up to me but what he doesn't know, is I look up to him. He taught me it's O.K. to be different and to do the things you simply love and enjoy in life as long as they make you happy. He's still ugly though. And adopted. 'Cause he's too light skin to be related to me.

Allen Gant

Groomsman

I hope that Allen has taken some anger management classes. I remember in college when I use to beat him in 2K or NCAA, he would either get infuriated and throw my shoes out of our dorm window, break the remote, or choke slam me on the ground. He is by far the biggest sore loser I have ever met in my life. And, obviously terrible at video games. On the flip side, Allen was one of the realest friends I met at Michigan and I am thankful for our friendship to this day!

Kahlen Washington

Groomsman

Kahlen is my second oldest brother and by far the coolest. He use to always help me try and beat up our oldest brother Jordan, although we failed many times, he was always down for the cause. Kahlen has always been a role model to me because of how smart and successful he was in school and he is the reason why I always tried my best and aimed for better!

Ross Douglas

Groomsman

I met Ross while we were being recruited together at the University of Michigan. We were roommates our entire college career and to this day, Ross and I remain close (sometimes I still wish we were roommates). One time in college Ross and I had our first ever 4 loco at a party and I drove my scooter home with him on the back. We crashed. I broke my scooter. And we both just laid there and laughed. There are plenty more stories like this, but I'll save them for the wedding. Love this dude like he was my little brother!

Nashawn Gaffney

Groomsman

Nashawn is the brother I would call if I needed someone to go fight with. We met when our parents started dating and he was a little baby. I helped raised this little boy. Yup, changed his diapers and fed him his bottles. Shawn and I have a great relationship and he is one of my closest step brothers!

Michael Tollerton

Groomsman

Michael and I met at the age of 7 when his Dad drafted me to the High School baseball team. From that day forward, Michael and I became close friends. He is my only childhood friend that I still talk to, to this day. He has always been a great friend to have in my life and I'm extremely happy we met so young. When I got hurt in the NFL he was the first person to call and check on me to make sure I was O.K. You can't find many friendships like this anymore. He's never asked me for anything but only what can he do for me. I love this guy like a brother! Not sure where I would be without his friendship!
