We met at work in 2014 when we were both Analysts at TD Bank, on Allie’s first day visiting the Boston office (Wyatt swears Allie’s dress was grey, but it was black). Soon after, Wyatt started a campaign to get Allie transferred to sit full time in Boston. Over the next year, we spent countless evenings after work getting drinks with a group of friends, often scheming to make plans just to spend time with each other. Our first unofficial date was one evening at Sterlings on State Street in the financial district. Everyone else bailed last minute, but we decided to go anyways. We got drinks, but barely ate our tater tots because we were so nervous and excited to hangout alone for the first time. Our first official date was at Crisp in Osterville during a weekend at the Liimatainen house in September 2015. Allie convinced her parents to house Wyatt for a go-kart race fundraising event on the Cape. Allie’s Mom Diane knew something was up that weekend when Allie “casually” asked Wyatt to sit next to her, using the excuse that she needed help browsing a non-important online purchase. We started dating in October 2015 and worked in the same cubicle diagonal from each other for years. We thought we were sly and no one knew about our office romance until our boss mentioned he noticed us constantly requesting the same PTO… We eventually went our separate ways at work, moved in together in an East Boston apartment with the tiniest kitchen in 2019, adopted our cat Goose and were engaged in September 2020. Three years and a condo purchase later, the wedding is finally here!
