Our Story

Tanner and Allie met at Wahlert Catholic High School in Dubuque, Iowa in 2015. Tanner was a junior, and Allie was a sophomore.

On February 28th, Tanner and Allie went to their first school dance together. That night, Tanner asked Allie to be his girlfriend.

Allie enjoyed cheering on number 55!

Tanner had a little help asking Allie to Homecoming.

After a year of dating, Tanner and Allie attended Tanner's brother, Tyler's, wedding. Tyler's wife, Jennifer, and her sister, told Tanner he better marry Allie someday!

Celebrating the Fourth of July was always a summer highlight!

One year later, Allie joined Tanner at the University of Iowa where they had fun cheering on the Hawkeyes together!

In the spring of 2019, Allie visited Tanner while he studied abroad in Italy.

The East Coast is one of our favorite places to visit!

On July 28th, Tanner proposed to Allie in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Currently, Tanner and Allie live in Dubuque.

Tanner works as an insurance agent with Farm Bureau in Bellevue, Iowa. Allie is a kindergarten teacher at Bryant Elementary School.
