When one thinks of COVID-19 the first thing that comes to mind is most certainly not a thriving dating scene. While the world seemed convinced that life could end at any moment, Allie and Parker also faced the frightening possibility that dating as they knew it might just end with it. It was with this realization that they turned to their only remaining option....the dating apps. Both swiped right and left tirelessly, days turned to months with seemingly no lucky swipes, experiencing Bumble after fumble. As the world slowly began to reopen and still no hope for love in sight, Parker and Allie began to wonder if their next swipe would ever be "the one". But just as these two seemingly ill fated bumblers began to lose hope, they soon discovered love could be found even in the most unlikely of dating apps. Parker met Allie at her favorite sushi house in Downtown Dallas, for their first date. Allie knew she would need to be with an adventurous eater, so she always picked sushi as her first date cuisine. Turns out, Parker accidentally ordering a salt bowl filled with giant salmon eggs was the best mistake he ever made. Allie took this to be an indication that Parker was not only an adventurous diner but that he also had a refined pallet. Her curiosity was piqued and she was keen on another date with this tall, red head from Ft. Worth by the end of the night.
