Our first date was at a Fresno State Football game & we got to watch Carr lead the dogs to victory against Hawaii. Before the game we went to DogHouse and enjoyed each others company & got to know each other. (side note Josiah was so nervous he went up a curb when trying to park) Afterwards, we talked the whole way home singing, laughing, & sharing our most embarrassing stories!

Josiah & Alex got engaged on Valentine's day of 2020 at a Fresno State Softball game. Josiah had everything planned out for weeks, he told Alex they would spend their Valentines Day at the home opener for the the Dogs in support of his cousin who is the head coach. Josiah told Alex that Rick, Josiah's father, was trying to invite as many people as possible to make it a packed-out game. When they arrived to the game, Alex saw all of her friends and family & still had no clue something special might be happening. As they walked through the gates a booth that said "Win Couple of the Game" was posted, immediately Alex wanted to sign up! Afterwords they received a text saying they won couple of the game! (keep-in-mind this is a setup & Josiah has already been in contact with everyone for weeks!) It was then time to introduce the couple of the game. Josiah & Alex made their way up to the stage, suddenly their song started to play over the speakers and the time came for Josiah to get down on one knee and ask Will You Marry Me?
