We were good friends in high school and even dated briefly. After going our separate ways, we came back together when Ali came to Cincinnati to do her residency year at the VA.

We designed our engagement ring together so Ali knew it was coming but wasn’t expecting it so soon! We went on a walk to one of our favorite parks outside the city, and Josh proposed at the overlook with a beautiful view of the Cincinnati skyline.
