McNay Art Museum
A special art museum nestled in the center of Alamo Heights. Fun Fact: Alexandra's high school senior portraits were taken on the grounds here!
San Antonio Museum of Art (SAMA)
A large art museum located on a quieter section of the Riverwalk. Fun Fact: Alexandra interned behind the scenes in the Latin American division here one summer in college.
Mi Tierra Cafe y Panaderia
This restaurant can get pretty busy, but it's a fun Mexican food place downtown!
Paloma Blanca Mexican Cuisine
A favorite neighborhood Mexican spot. Fun fact: The green chicken enchiladas and a tres leches cake is one of Alexandra's favorite meals.
River Walk
If the weather is nice, walk along the Riverwalk downtown for a lively people-watching experience, or for quieter a walk, you can head North all the way to the Pearl complex, or South towards the King William neighborhood.
