All, It is with great regret that we have made the decision to postpone the wedding celebration with you all. We are going to continue with getting married, but it will be with immediate family present. We feel as though it is our social responsibility to make this decision during this unique time. We hope you understand, and we cannot wait to celebrate with you in a different time/place. We feel your love towards us from afar, and look forward to the day that we can share a special moment with all of you individually. The celebrations are still TBD, and we will be sure to update you as we have more information on when/where they will be (: Like mentioned previously, we still will be getting married, therefore will be leaving the registry open. If you feel like getting us a gift, that is amazing, thank you! IF not, please don't worry about it, your love is enough. We feel honored and truly chosen to be able to do this together, with you. We are choosing to see the light in this, and we hope you do to. We love you all, and wish you the very best health moving forward.
Elijah and Alex had heard each others names for years. They had mutual friends but Elijah was in Bozeman while Alex was going to school in Missoula. It was a Saturday night at their good friend Chet's house, they saw each other and introduced themselves right away. The night continued and they couldn't stay separated long. The night came to an end and they went their separate ways, little did they know that was just the beginning of a lifetime of love...
It was just a couple months prior to Alex leaving for a six month mission trip but after their initial meeting Elijah knew he couldn't let her go. It wasn't long before Alex received her first letter from Elijah while living in Kona, Hawaii. That was just the beginning of many more letters, phone calls, and face-times. During this time apart both were on their own faith journey; They began to practice trusting God in all circumstances and fully surrender the control, learning to let go and let God take them on an incredible adventure that led to each other. The excitement grew as Alex was on her way back to Montana; it was time to find out if this Elijah was truly the man he seemed to be. "Elijah is the man I prayed for... He is the most compassionate and loving human I know.... I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together pursuing God's heart and falling deeper in love every day." - Alex "I knew I was going to marry her, rather, I was told she was the one I was to marry early on in our phone conversations while she was gone on her mission trip. Alex is my best friend, loving her is easy and I continue to find her more beautiful every day. " - Elijah
