Question
How do I get to the venue?
Answer
The coach shuttle will pickup at Premier Inn at 11:45am. Please come down to the lobby/parking area at 11:30am. Tanja and Allison have the list of people riding the coach and will call your mobile if you are not present. For those staying in Sorn/Mauchline you should pre-order a taxi or drive to the venue. Note - limited parking onsite.

When does the wedding event end?
Answer
The venue requests that all guests (aside from those staying on the property) leave the venue by 12:00am (midnight). The coach will be there at 11:30pm and plan to leave Sorn no later than midnight.

Is there an opportunity to see Miranda and Alex before and/or after the wedding?
Answer
We are staying at the Dakota Glasgow Hotel on Wednesday and Thursday before the wedding. There is an opportunity on Thursday evening to stop by the hotel, say hi and have a few drinks with us around 8pm. Friday will be a day dedicated to family with the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Saturday, we will see you at the Wedding! On Sunday we are doing a Post-Wedding Lunch/Casual Reception at the Italian Restaurant, Cafe Da Vinci, in Kilmarnock. Feel free to stop by this optional event around 12pm. We will provide welcome drinks and a few starters. Following the wedding we will spend a few days in Edinburgh with family. We may be able to see then if that is also your plan!

What are hotel options?
Answer
1) Park Hotel in Kilmarnock. Shuttle will be provided to/from this hotel. Pickup time to be confirmed closer to our big day. 2) Premier Inn in Kilmarnock. Shuttle will be provided to/from this hotel. Pickup time to be confirmed closer to our big day. 3) AirBnB (suggest to stay in Sorn or Kilmarnock so you can meet at hotel for shuttle pickup/drop-off). 4) Family will stay at the Castle or Sorn Inn (please don’t try to make a reservation at Sorn Inn)
Question
It is a long day, will there be enough food?
Answer
Yes! We will provide canapés during the cocktail, a full dinner (starter, main, dessert), there will be cake AND late night snacks!
Question
Do I need to bring money?
Answer
We will be providing libations all throughout the event. However, if you want anything other than mainline spirits, beer and wine, please bring CASH to purchase. Note - the venue does not accept card payments due to their remote location!
