Karlee and Alex met in 2008 at the OCC athlete orientation. Karlee is a person that when you meet her you instantly feel like you’ve known her forever and that you are her best friend. There was a point Alex and Karlee almost started a joint Instagram because they did everything together. Karlee has been Alex’s best friend for the last 14 years and she couldn’t image anyone else being by her side.

Alex met Ellie when she basically stalked Ellie and forced her to be her friend. A few weeks of killing her with kindness and Ellie has been a major part of Alex’s life. 13 years of Friendship, weddings, babies, and they are as strong as ever.

If there was one phrase to describe Haly, it’s “one of kind”. Alex and Haly lived together in Newport Beach for a few years, and in that time they formed an amazing friendship. Haly has this special gift of meeting people right where they’re at, and doing what it take to spend time with those she loves. It a quality Alex loves and admires about her.

Brittany is the sister of Matthew, and from the moment Alex and Brit met, they new they where kindred spirits. A shared love of traveling, food, makeup, and their brothers, has made it such a seamless and easy friendship.

Sophie and Alex met a few years ago through her husband and Matthew being friends. As the year progressed, their friendship grew, and our presence in each other’s lives became bigger. The impact and role Sophie and her husband Michael, also a groomsman. have played in our lives has been irreplaceable. Sophie has a been a loyal, thoughtful, and steadfast friend to Alex in such a short period of time.

Leah is one of Alex’s sister from another mister. Been in her life since a sophomore in high school. Leah has been a big part of Alex’s life, showing her the ropes of life living in CA, and always having an open door and listening ear. Alex truly couldn’t imagine her special day without her sisters.
Lilly Haug

Alex and Lilly met at a mutual volleyball teammates wedding. They spent the next 4 halloweens, and 2 stagecoaches together. Lilly shares Alex’s spirit for adventure and dressing up. While living half way across the country from each other Lilly and her husband have become close friends of Alex and Matthew. She is such a thoughtful, considerate, and reliable friend who constantly shows up when needed. She’s going to be a great mother as well 👶🏼

Alana, the final sister in the bunch will be a bridesmaid in spirit. Alana has been a constant cheerleader in Alex’s life since their parents met in 2008. Alana is caring, thoughtful, and always there to hype you up and make you feel special. We are so happy you are growing you family and starting out on your new venture in home owning.
Karen Mainini
Mother of the Bride
If you see someone walking around that looks like Alex, that’s Karen. A perfect example of “The Apple Doesn’t Fall Far from the Tree”, and that’s just the way Alex likes. Alex and Karen act more like best friends than they do mother and daughter, always there for each, talk about anything, doesn’t judge but will always give you truth, even if you don’t want to hear it. Alex gets many traits from her mother like her bravery, fierce loyalty, devotion to family, and her outgoing spirit. Alex and Karen are two peas in a pod, and they may be family by blood, but friends by choice.
Blake Barron

Blake is Matthew’s oldest brother & when seen in person, both have been told they look like twins. From a young age, Blake and Matthew competed in sports together and love to reminisce about the good ol’ days when life was just about playing a baseball game, going to Sonic after practices and practicing their Judo moves on each other in the living room at home. Through thick and think they have been there for each other & always will be there for each other!
John-Michael Barron
Best Man
John-Michael (JM or Jam, for short) is Matthew’s youngest brother. JM is one heck of an artist and has a gift for creating artwork that people can only imagine. JM has a heart of gold and even though he has a quiet disposition, he’s got a laugh that’ll make you laugh.
Luke Watson
Best Man
Luke is one of Matthew’s cousins, but is considered a brother. Though he and Matthew grew up in different cities, there were many weekends and summers where Luke was a regular visitor at the Barron household. From mowing lawns to make some cash as teenagers to playing Rock Band for hours on end, Luke holds a very dear place in Matthew’s family & heart, and always will.
Zack Scott
Groomsman
Zack and Matthew have been joined at the hip since pre-school. They grew up only minutes away from each other in their younger years so sleepovers were apart of their weekend plans, every weekend. If there’s funky music, you can bet to see Matthew and Zack dancing the night away. There’s never a dull moment between these guys & they have a friendship that will last a lifetime.
Michael Streight
Groomsman
Michael and Matthew met each other while getting their education in College Station and have been friends ever since. Their friendship blossomed when they discovered the same passion they had for health & fitness. As the years have progressed, Michael & Matthew are now working together as health and fitness professionals to build a business known as Luxury Lifestyle Training. Their friendship has blossomed into a brotherhood and will only get better!

Drew and Matthew met shortly after Matthew and Alex started dating. From the get go, Matthew knew that family was a priority to Drew and that reeled Matthew in. Along with family, Drew and Matthew share a passion for the outdoors and fishing and love getting any chance they can to “rip some lips.”
