Leslie was raised in Mississippi by her beloved grandparents, Martha and Tom Braddock. She moved to NYC in 2014 with her dog Hepburn, and rescued her cat Magnolia during the pandemic. Leslie is taking her grandparent’s last name, Braddock, to honor them.

Alex was born in Upstate New York three years after his parents immigrated from South Korea. He roots for University of Michigan Football every Fall season, manages Hope Church NYC's The Hub by day, and sneaks extra treat to Hepburn by night.

Alex and Leslie met on the rooftop of The Hub NYC on Memorial Day, 2021. A month and a couple of Instagram messages later they went on a first date where Leslie insisted on paying for dinner, the second date was Korean food and ice cream, and the third a concert in Central Park. They both knew pretty early on that something special was in the works.
