Four years ago at a Halloween party in Brookline, MA, Cardi G made her way across the crowded room to talk to the long haired, full bearded Fat Thor (complete with a pillow stuffed under his sweatshirt and a child's toy axe). Despite his rugged exterior, Gina saw past the scruff and agreed to see him again. And the following weekend on their first date they were throwing adult sized axes across the room at Urban Axes.

Earlier this year, Alex booked a camping trip "for Gina's birthday," which was really an excuse to drag her out of bed late at night to watch a meteor shower. Little did she know how much more he had in store! After a fun afternoon exploring Wilmington, VT and going out for a nice dinner, Gina and Alex were sitting by the campfire and Gina's energy was running a bit low. Alex had planned to propose under the shooting stars, but it seemed like Gina might not manage to stay up that late; it was time for drastic action!
