Yes! We hope our guests see this day as an opportunity to have fun and dress up. Please dress in elevated cocktail attire, there's a gorgeous oceanfront backdrop waiting for you! We recommend a suit and tie for the gentlemen, and cocktail dresses for the ladies. Please avoid jeans, boots, and sneakers as well as dresses in shades of white. With the weather prediction, we recommend bringing a jacket!
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. We appreciate our guests understanding and effort in helping keep our day intimate with our closest friends and family.
Although we love your littles, we regretfully cannot accommodate everyone's children due to limited capacity set by our venue. Invitations will be specific and include the names of children who are invited. We hope you see this as an opportunity to take the night off and enjoy your evening with us!
We recommend booking as soon as you know your travel plans. La Jolla prices can increase over the summer and availability often becomes scare within the cove.
We encourage guests to Uber if possible to the venue, but for guests who prefer to drive themselves there is street parking with a 3 hour limit through 6:00pm. Additionally, there is paid ACE and LAZ parking garages nearby with hourly and daily parking. We ask our guests traveling to La Jolla to please allow yourselves 20 minutes for traffic en route to the venue and 10-15 minutes to find street parking as this area can be extremely congested.
Average temperatures in San Diego at this time of year range from 55-70 degrees. Please note the ceremony and reception will be entirely outdoors with the exception of a covered dance floor. Being ocean front, we recommend guests bring a jacket to wear as an extra layer when the sun goes down. There will be heaters and lounge fireplaces to provide additional warmth in the event it becomes a bit chilly out.
Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be held on the rooftop of the hotel which is accessible by both stairs and elevator. There is a ramp that leads to the rooftop of the hotel for those that cannot tolerate stairs.
