What's the dress code?

-Garden Party Chic! Wait, but what does that mean? -Think sophisticated yet relaxed — perfect for a Sunday afternoon in an outdoor, scenic setting. We recommend: -For women: Midi or floor length dresses or equivalent that feel light and airy, but with a formal touch. Think floral prints, soft pastels, or subtle neutrals. Comfortable yet formal shoes are encouraged, such as block heels, as we will be on a vineyard with some grassy areas. -For men: A light suit or slacks with a button-down and a blazer will complement the outdoor vineyard atmosphere. Soft shades or light colors are ideal. Ties are welcome but optional. -Grass-friendly dress shoes encouraged. **Please note, this is a suggested dress code. Any formal attire is welcome.**

I'm coming in from the city with public transit. How do I get there?

Answer

We recommend taking a Hampton Jitney charter bus to either Riverhead or Aquebogue. Another option is to take the Long Island Railroad to Riverhead. We have more specific directions in the travel section.

Question

I'm flying in from out of town. Should I rent a car?

Answer

It depends on what your plans are while visiting New York. There are options to arrive to the North Fork of Long Island from NYC with public transit. If you plan to spend most of your time in the city, you won't need to rent a car to be able to come to the wedding. If you want to explore Long Island, then a car would be recommended. Renting a car locally will likely be cheaper than renting at the airport. Please see travel section for more details.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The nearest airport to the venue is the Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP). However, if you plan to visit NYC while you're here, it may be more convenient and potentially cheaper to fly into one of NYC's major airports: LaGuardia (LGA), JFK, or Newark.

Is there parking on site?

Answer

Yes, there is parking on site.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 3PM.

Will transportation be provided between hotels and the venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be a shuttle bus between between the hotel blocks as well as the Hampton Jitney stop. Please see travel section for more detailed info.

Can I bring my kids?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accomodate children at the wedding.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place on an outdoor patio, the cocktail hour will take place on the lawn, and the reception will take place on an outdoor, covered patio.

What if it rains?

Answer

Don't worry! The Vineyard has a lovely ballroom as well as other indoor spaces that we can use for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception as a backup if needed.
