We recommend taking a Hampton Jitney charter bus to either Riverhead or Aquebogue. Another option is to take the Long Island Railroad to Riverhead. We have more specific directions in the travel section.
It depends on what your plans are while visiting New York. There are options to arrive to the North Fork of Long Island from NYC with public transit. If you plan to spend most of your time in the city, you won't need to rent a car to be able to come to the wedding. If you want to explore Long Island, then a car would be recommended. Renting a car locally will likely be cheaper than renting at the airport. Please see travel section for more details.
The nearest airport to the venue is the Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP). However, if you plan to visit NYC while you're here, it may be more convenient and potentially cheaper to fly into one of NYC's major airports: LaGuardia (LGA), JFK, or Newark.

The ceremony will take place on an outdoor patio, the cocktail hour will take place on the lawn, and the reception will take place on an outdoor, covered patio.
Don't worry! The Vineyard has a lovely ballroom as well as other indoor spaces that we can use for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception as a backup if needed.
