The vision for our Saturday wedding is "A Night On the Town with Alex & Chelsea". We want share our love of K.C by enjoying some of our favorite local places with our friends and family. The ceremony will be at a beautiful church on Ward Parkway Blvd, the city's most well known street. Transportation with drinks will be provided for guests from the church to dinner. Bus drivers will take a short detour through the lovely Country Club Plaza en-route to the Crossroads Arts District where we will drink and dine at Jack Stack BBQ (our favorite K.C. BBQ joint)! After dinner, busses will transport guests about one mile north to the heart of downtown K.C. as the sun sets on the city skyline. The reception will be at Noir, a beautiful new speakeasy cocktail lounge with sleek black walls and ceiling, warm wood floors, gold accents and comfy seating. Delicious craft cocktails will be served and in keeping with Pittsburgh wedding tradition, an array of cookies will be provided.

We love The Country Club Plaza. Alex's home is nearby and we come down here all the time for coffee, shopping, dinner or to workout at Chiefs Fit. We encourage out of town guests to stay at the new Cascade Hotel in this lovely district and to explore the area.

Kauffman Stadium is a fantastic place to catch a baseball game. The Royals will be hosting the Tigers on Friday May 30th (7:10pm) and Sunday June 1st (1:10pm). We encourage guests to catch a game here if they can.
