Join us to celebrate our marriage, we will be just past our one year anniversary and would love to spend time with all of our family and friends. It will be an evening filled with food, drinks, dancing and reminiscing! We met in the fall of 2021... on Hinge. Brian had reached out once, heard no response, but being very persistent reached out again. He invited Alex to coffee... which she doesn't drink, and awkward, neither does he. We decided to meet up anyway; getting hot chocolate and hot cider, and we hit it off pretty quickly. We bonded over our love of the outdoors and all the activities we have been involved in all our lives (skiing/snowboarding/backpacking/camping), our love of travel and our passion for helping others (Brian is an outpatient Physical Therapist and Alex is a Neonatal ICU nurse). Our relationship progressed in regular fashion... a few trips abroad with family and friends to be vetted, Brian moved in to Alex's house, and we welcomed a fur baby (Yukon Rowan Cornelius Collins) in the fall of 2023. On the way home from our first ski trip together (Mission Ridge, WA), we discussed that if we ever got married, we both wanted to elope in the mountains followed by a big celebration with our friends and family. True to our word, a little less than three years later, we did just that. We had our photographer and date already picked out before even being engaged. The pressure was on for Brian! On July 4th, 2024, Brian, Alex and Yukon hiked up to Artist Point near Mount Baker, Washington. It was here, Brian asked Alex to join him and Yukon for the rest of their lives. Alex said, "YES!" Yukon had no idea what was going on, he was just happy to be there playing in the snow. Fast forward to October 28th, 2024, Brian and Alex (surrounded by some of their immediate family) exchanged vows at Rimrock Lake, Washington, just across the street from the Forsyth's family cabin. They spent the morning with family, enjoying champagne and a charcuterie brunch. We then spent the afternoon exploring the area around White Pass and Mount Rainer, just Brian and Alex, and their photographer Mollie. We ended our day saying our personal vows in a snow storm at Naches Pass. It was the perfect day, completely encapsulating who we are as individuals and as a couple. We now look forward to celebrating with you all this November, as we pass our one year anniversary as Husband and Wife!
