As many or all of you know 2023 has been an emotional year for us. On April 9th, early Easter morning, Alex got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was so special, and we were the only two in the world to know for a couple hours. We then went to Alex's grandparents and got to surprise his whole family. Everyone was thrilled! After that we headed to my Mom's house and got to share the news with them. It was such a joyful day, and we were so happy to get to spend it with our family. A couple weeks after starting the wedding planning we found out that Alex's Mom was diagnosed with cancer. It was devastating to hear but she was ready to fight. For the next couple months all our family and friends rallied around Beth, and she fought hard. As the middle of August started to come Alex and I started talking about what was important to us - that our most important people got to be there for our big day. August 17th, we decided that we were going to move up our wedding and started making calls to make it happen. On August 19th, in the Meyer’s backyard, Alex and I were married surrounded by our most important people – our parents and our siblings. It was absolutely perfect, and you could feel Gods presence in every part of the day. It was so full of joy, happiness, laughter, and love and I would not change anything about it. We have had many congratulate us, comfort us, and pray for us and we are so grateful for that. While we are now officially married, we still want to celebrate our marriage with all of our friends and family! April 13th will be a celebration with renewal vows and a dancing reception. We hope to see you all there! With Love, Alex & Alex Meyer
