You read it right.. A referral! Alexa's cousin Jessica is a very talented hair stylist based in south jersey. So talented that she is the only one who Antonio trusts with his impeccable coif (lol). It didn't matter whether he lived in NYC or Miami, he would make the trip to get a cut just from her. Throughout the years of Jessica and Antonio knowing each other, she had no shame constantly reminding him of how amazing, talented and beautiful her cousin Alexa is and how badly he needed to meet her! While she was selling him, Jessica was working her magic on Alexa. She would remind her regularly of how she deserved the world. And little did Alexa know, that the man of her dreams was sitting in her cousins salon chair for all these years! One day, Alexa decided to take a shot and reach out to this man who lived 1,200 miles away just to say hi and see what all the hype was about. Well.. the hype was real! These two were inseparable from the first day that they said hello. And here we are today; all thanks to a referral.

It was just a few short days before Alexa and Antonio were set to leave for their long-awaited vacation to Aruba, and the couple was preparing for their trip on a beautiful Sunday in September. Alexa went on her way to run errands in the morning, unaware that in just a few short hours she would be engaged to the love of her life. Antonio played it cool all morning, his plan almost in motion. As Alexa made her way home, Antonio suggested that they take their dog, Corrado, for a walk along the river. This was something the two enjoyed doing together throughout the summer, so Alexa didn't think anything of it. He insisted on setting up the camera to take a photo, and it was then that Alexa sensed something was about to happen. As they sat together, Alexa could feel the nerves getting to Antonio. A few seconds later, Antonio got down on one knee, pulled out the ring and asked Alexa to marry him. Alexa was in complete shock and couldn't believe the moment she had always dreamed of was happening. She could muster only one word: "What!" After fifteen "whats" (and yes, Antonio was counting), Alexa finally said yes! And the two would continue celebrating as they ventured off to their dreamy vacation in paradise.
