FAQs

Question

Why do the license plates in the District all say "No Taxation Without Representation?"

Answer

Because District residents do not have congressional representation.

Question

What are your COVID-19 safety plans?

Answer

COVID-19 is an ever-evolving factor in all our lives. We ask that all our guests be up-to-date on their vaccinations, including booster shots. In addition, we kindly request you take sensible precautions to protect others; if you're feeling ill, or think you've been exposed to COVID-19, please test! As for ventilation, we're crossing our fingers for a beautiful spring weekend in D.C. and most of our events will be outdoors. Our cocktail hour is partially inside the cottage, but doors will be open to ensure airflow. Dinner and dancing will be under a well-ventilated tent on the lawn.

Question

Where can I go to see the cherry blossoms?

Answer

Washington D.C.'s famous cherry blossoms begin to bloom and peak in March, when tourists from around the world flock to the Tidal Basin around the national monuments. While our wedding is the same weekend as the "Cherry Blossom parade," peak bloom will be long over. But cherry trees and cherry blossom-like blooms can be spotted all over the city in springtime.

Question

Are any names changing?

Answer

While hyphenating our surnames and calling ourselves "Palleschi-Pochowski" was mighty tempting, our married names will be the same as our unmarried names.

Question

Are Kids Welcome? Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a limited guest count to comply with the venue's capacity limits. If you type your name in the RSVP search bar, you will see those invited in your party. Thank you for understanding.
