For most travelers, flying into Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA) is the easiest way to reach Leavenworth. From there, you’ll need to rent a car to drive the two hours — or, there’s the option to fly from SEA to Pangborn Memorial Airport (EAT) in Wenatchee. Alaska Airlines operates a twice-a-day flight to and from the smaller airport, which is about 30 minutes away from Leavenworth. Shuttles and taxis are available upon arrival. Those who prefer to travel by train can also book a ticket from Seattle to Leavenworth via Amtrak, or you can take the train all the way to Wenatchee. There are no rental cars available in Leavenworth, only taxi/shuttle.
We suggest you stay the night before the wedding in either Wenatchee or Leavenworth in case of weather.
If you plan on driving - watch the weather and for potential closures over Sevens Pass from Seattle. Sometimes snow tires and/or chains are required over the pass.

There is a light rail that can take you from SeaTac Airport right to King Station in Seattle to catch the Amtrak train to Leavenworth/Wenatchee. You would get on at SeaTac station and get off at the International district/Chinatown station. Nearby is the King Street Amtrak station.

Rental cars can be hard to find in Wenatchee, make sure you book ahead of time and choose one with AWD. Hertz is closed on Sat/Sun. Expedia is closed on Sunday. Your best bet for a rental car in Wenatchee is to get it on Friday.
