Alec and Allie’s love story began on December 31st of 2015, when they were brought together by mutual friends in Winchester, IL for a New Years Eve get together. Their first conversation consisted of Allie accidentally spilling a cup of water on the floor, and proceeding to blame it on Alec, a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. Over the course of the following three days they both pursued in endless flirtatious banter, and left the get together with a new contact added in their phones. Allie returned to Kansas, and Alec went back to Illinois - but their conversation continued even from 577 miles apart. Whether is was writing letters, texting or FaceTiming they couldn’t get enough of one another. The flirting got more serious with each plane ticket purchased, and it wasn’t long before they had fallen head over heals for one another. Fast forward six years and on July 31st, 2021 Alec proposed to Allie out in Fort Morgan Colorado, the same place where Allie's grandma and grandpa had gotten married over 63 years ago. Neither of them realized that their New Years resolutions for 2016 would include building a relationship to last a lifetime... or maybe a small part of them knew. And now they look forward to becoming Mr. and Mrs. Ramsden this upcoming October 7th, 2022 - and are excited to continue to write their love story as husband and wife.
