Matthew still says he was more nervous to meet Brick (her/their dog) than he was to meet her dad. They met online, went skiing for 12 hours, and have spent almost every day together ever since. They started in Bedford, NH, found out that even in the midst of a global pandemic and working remotely in a 700 square foot apartment, they were having the time of their lives. Knowing they both had the urge to explore, one day Matthew sent Caitlyn a picture of Pikes Peak and that's how they ended up in Colorado. They decided they'd make their way back to the East Coast and ended up finding out Raleigh, NC was way too hot and flat. The mountains were calling, again. Matthew asked Caitlyn to marry him during lunchtime at home. She said yes, they made sandwiches and threw the frisbee in the backyard to celebrate. They soon after bought a house. The family of three is now nestled between two lakes in Northwood, New Hampshire where Brick frolics in the lake every morning, and also tries to eat the neighbors cat (to no avail).
