What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal to formal and garden-party inspired (i.e. cocktail dresses, pantsuits, suits and ties, etc.). Need inspo? Check out this Pinterest board :) https://www.pinterest.com/alanna_online/guests/

Due to limited capacity, please refer to your invite for plus one information.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Unfortunately, we can only accommodate the children of our immediate families. We hope you understand and will enjoy having the day/evening off. If you need sitter accommodations, we recommend using https://www.care.com/babysitters to find a sitter in the area.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

August 15th, 2023. This is our firm deadline and we regrettably won't be able to accommodate any further responses beyond that date.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All will be outdoors, weather permitting. The ceremony will take place in front of the greenhouse, cocktail hour will be in the greenhouse and on the patio, and finally the reception will take place in an outdoor tent to the left of the greenhouse :) If raining, the ceremony will take place inside the reception tent.

What will your wedding-day timeline look like?

Answer

Timeline: 3:00 - 3:30 PM - Ceremony 3:30 - 4:30 PM - Cocktail hour 4:30 - 9 PM - Speeches, dances, dinner, & party!!

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! See the "Directions & Accommodations" section for parking, travel, and hotel block information.

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

Please let us know when you send in your RSVP -- we are happy to accommodate :)

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have a limited drink menu (wine, beer, seltzer, and a few mixed drinks). We will of course have non-alcoholic options, as well (iced tea, lemonade, water, and coffee). Shots are not permitted at HSL.
