History of Klein Immergrün In 1914, Charles Schwab, a top steel magnate of the early 20th century, returned to his roots in Loretto, PA to build his summer estate. In 1919, he commissioned his architect to design a Norman Village on a nearby property. The village was to be a replica of a farm complex he visited in Europe and home for his prize animals, which he showed at the county fair. In 1965, Pete’s grandparents purchased the land and barns from Schwab and shaped it over the years into the magical place that it is today. They converted Schwab’s 65-acre animal farm into a place where their family and friends could enjoy many wonderful occasions. We will be the 25th family couple to be married at the Farm. We can’t wait to share this wonderful tradition with all of our loved ones!
