30 years ago I stood in front of a preacher, holding my girlfriend's hand, trying to not let either of us break out in embarrassing giggles. We had no concept of the work required ahead, or the tools we would need to turn that effort into the construction of the rest of our lives. So here we are, 30 years on, and we finally feel like we figured it out. 30 years on, and we are building a new home, for our hearts, in the same place and on the foundation of the old one.
