Dances to Pratcice

The Wedding Website of Alanis Graham and Matthew Lawson
We would love for you to join us on the dance floor! Here are some easy dances to prepare you for the wedding. Most are labeled according to the song title and linked with a tutorial. From country to ballroom to breakin', hope to see you out on the dance floor rockin' it! (This page will likely be continually updated as the wedding approaches. Ignore "Travel note" below)

Greek Freestyle Dance (Zeibekiko)

BEGINNER+ freestyle As long as you move on beat, anything goes. 1 & 2 & 3, 1 & 2 & 3, 4. That's quick quick quick quick, slow, quick quick quick quick, slow, slow. Once you hear and see it in person, it'll click. One person dances at a time normally, and the rest watch in circle around them, sometimes clapping. Dance as long as you want then leave the center and someone else comes in. Additional examples below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juW0I5QzlDU

Additional Dances

If you brake dance, warm up those head spins. If you country swing, polish those cowboy boots. If you east and west coast swing, save me a dance! We may or may not include other popular country line dances and are open to more suggestions. Whatever moves you have--listed here or not--we'd love to see them!
