It all started on bumble, and then moved to Snapchat. We had ghosted each other on and off for a bout a year, and then one day he had posted on his Snapchat story that he had a free ticket to Morgan Wallen. I had been begging my mom for months for these tickets for my birthday and the answer was always no. So I decided that I was going to swipe up and tell him I would go. We had talked all day everyday leading up to the week of the concert. I told him I was going to Applebees to get something to eat, and he had asked if he could join me, I told him he could, but I was in sweatpants, a baggy sweatshirt, a messy bun, and sandals. He said he didn’t care and still came up there with me. We had talked for a while at the restaurant, and then went on a drive and talked some more. After that night we were pretty much inseparable, he would come up to my work after he got off or I would go and meet him for lunch before I went to work etc. Come the day of the concert he came by my house and picked me up and we went to the concert. We had a wonderful time, and he even asked me to be his girlfriend during my favorite song. Since that night we have been completely inseparable and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
We were in Gatlinburg for my 21st birthday we had already had a rocky start to the weekend when we ran out of gas 30 minutes from our cabin. We made up for it though on our first full day of vacation, which was my birthday, we had done so many things to many to remember now. It wasn’t til the second day we were there that he asked me to marry him. We had finished breakfast at Shoneys I believe. As we we’re heading back to the car (that we had parked in a hotel parking lot) my shoe had come untied, I didn’t bother stopping and retying it as we were almost to the car. When we got to the car he hurried infront of me so he could retie my shoe when he was done retying my shoe he hit on one knee, and pulled out a ring and asked me if I would marry him. I of course said yes, and we went to play some hillbilly golf and had the best last day of vacation.
