We are having a wedding that incorporates some aspects of Nigerian culture into our celebration including traditional outfits, music, and “spraying”. “Spraying”: Considered one of the highlights of a Nigerian wedding reception. This tradition involves the bride and groom dancing while the guests “shower” or “spray” them with cash. This symbolizes a showering of happiness, good fortune, and is a display of the guest's affection for the couple. There are many examples on Youtube. Everyone is welcomed to join in and keep us from leaving the dance floor!
Formal attire, including cocktail dresses, suits, dressy jumpsuits, and traditional Nigerian attire. Non-Nigerians who wish to wear traditional attire to the wedding are welcome to do so!
Unless your invitation specifically lists "and guest", due to capacity limits at the venue, we unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests.
