What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal attire, tuxes and gowns are welcome, but so are suits and cocktail dresses. When deciding on footwear please keep in mind that this is an outdoor wedding, with the ceremony taking place in the woods. If you, like me, never know what to wear and are looking for attire direction we suggest darker tones and warmer fabrics. October evenings in the Catskills can get a little chilly! Color suggestions: maroon, navy, rusty orange, dark greens, dark purples. Swords, shields, magic wands, and fairy dust welcome as always.

When should I book my lodging?

Answer

If you are planning on celebrating with us then we recommend booking your lodging sooner rather than later due to high tourist volume during this time of year. If you have any difficulties finding lodging to your liking please reach out to us, we are happy to help! Please note: the mountain giants have informed us that their caves are not available for booking this year, we apologize for any inconvenience.

When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony is at 3:30pm, so please arrive at the venue no later than 3:15pm on Saturday, October 7th. The venue is open to guests starting at 2:30pm, and light refreshments will be served before the ceremony begins. We recommend checking in to your lodging the day before, to allow plenty of time to settle in.

Does the venue have parking?

Answer

Yes, the venue will have ample on-site parking. Water troughs and hay will be provided for horse-drawn carriages and other mounts upon request only. No dragons or spacecraft please.

Can I take an Uber to the venue?

Answer

We do not recommend relying on Uber or Lyft for the weekend as drivers are extremally scarce in the area. Please take advantage of our shuttle service for the day of our wedding.
