How we met ( Wifey Edition )

February 7, 2020

My mom was in a real bad car accident so we were at the hospital all Thursday night. The next day I came back to the hospital to visit my mom. Me and my sister (Tara) was looking for the chick-fil-a and I noticed this very handsome guy and kept telling my sister how cute I thought he was. He asked did we need help to Chick-fil-A and walked us all the way there. We both ordered but me and my sister got our food first and sat down. Rodney is walking out and checking on us before he starts his shift. Me being all shy I’m just like yeah we are good, thank you. Meanwhile my sister says, “why don’t you sit down.” Rodney forgets about work and eats his lunch with us lol. My sister was doing all the talking because I’m so shy. I was just starring and smiling at him. He leaves and tells us to have a good day and we don’t exchange numbers. So now my sister is picking on me saying I have no game because I didn’t make a move. Fast forward to Sunday my mom is still recovering in the hospital. On my way to go see her, my sister texts me Rodney’s number so I immediately call her. I called her and asked how’d she got his number and ironically they ran into each other he was getting off the elevator and recognized my sister voice before even seeing her face. Out of all the patients he deals with on a regular he remembered my sisters voice, crazy right? So I go sit with my mom while my dad and sister go home because I was sleep all day and now it’s my turn to take care of mama. Me and my mom hear a knock at the door and here comes my fiancé. He told me he was checking on my mom but we all know he was looking for ya girl … I always tell him he must have really wanted to run into me because that was a huge risk to have taken. What if I wasn’t in the room at that moment but clearly this was all in God’s plan. We ended up leaving the room once my dad got back and went downstairs to Panera bread and talked all night. Literally since that night we haven’t gone a day without talking to each other. It was fate how we met. Now he is my soon to be husband and father of my child and I couldn’t imagine going through this lifetime without my other half❤️
