The entire wedding will be outdoors, along with dinner, drinks, and dancing after the ceremony.
We are recommending you fly into Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) if you are coming from out of town.
September in Texas is usually very warm with a nice breeze. We are predicting a high around 85 degrees and a low of around 65 degrees. The chance of rain is very low, but in the unlikely event that a storm hits us, there will be plenty of coverage for the day to continue as usual.
Absolutely! We have lots of children in the family and wish for them to have a day of fun as well. While we will provide yard games and coloring, please keep in mind this is an open bar event and music choices will become less kid-friendly late into the night. There will be dogs, a firepit, and an in ground pool that is not fenced in that may present a hazard for young children.
We’re asking for a “dressy casual” for all guests. Button up shirts, nice jeans, dresses and skirts. Note that the ceremony and reception will all take place outside on grass, and to plan your footwear choices with that in mind. Please refrain from wearing colors that are traditional for a bride such as whites, creams, and ivory.
We are offering a buffet style meal with protein options brisket, ribs, and chicken. The sides will be a variety of different vegetables, and a couple of salad options for the main meal. There will be a late night snack option provided, along with a grazing table spread. We will have vegan, and/or gluten-free options as well. Please be sure to let us know of any dietary requirements beforehand. We want to make sure you get to eat! Please do not hesitate to reach out and let us know, otherwise we will default to the meat and glutenous choice for all guests.
We will have the ceremony streaming on Chloe’s Facebook page, as well as a video posted there afterwards. Please reach out to the bride/groom for a direct link beforehand to Chloe’s Facebook page if you are unable to locate it.
As we’ve already shared a home for years, we have accumulated all the things we could ever need (and much more). Your presence is present enough, but if you wish to put a monetary donation towards our honeymoon fund and/or future together, there is a virtual registry on this website for digital donations, as well as a cash box at the wedding itself.
As a queer couple our identity is a large part of a daily battle we are unfortunately accustomed to facing. This is a day to celebrate our love, and who we have grown to be both in our time together and before, we ask that anyone that feels the need to purposefully misgender or use the incorrect name for ourselves or other guests not attend. If there is mention of this happening we will tell you to leave. Thank you for being supportive of us in this next step in our lives.
Feel free to contact the bride on her cell phone: (817-806-6996) anytime leading up to the event.
