Who swiped right first? After matching on Tinder, Wade planned the best (and last) first date Aidan ever had! It started with lunch in Lincoln Park, a spontaneous stroll through Oz Park, and realizing we were having too much fun and didn't want the date to end, we Ubered to the Lakefront to walk around. The date ended at sundown at the pier at North Avenue Beach. We promptly saw each other the next day to watch Game of Thrones, and the rest is history!

We look back on our first date so fondly, so it only makes sense that it became the theme of Wade's proposal. On a very cold December day, Wade planned the most thoughtful proposal day (with extremely precise details) of our entire first date. From sitting at the same table we sat at Butcher and the Burger, drinking the same IPAs, to finding the exact bench we sat at in Oz Park, it couldn't have been more thoughtful and perfect. The day ended where our first date ended - the pier at North Avenue Beach. After a very windy and chilly proposal and lots of happy tears, our best friends, Kate and John, appeared with Cooper (of course they were in on it!). We spent the rest of the day celebrating!
