Yet through a collection of fateful moments, their lives intersected - moving into the same apartment building in Brooklyn. After a few chance encounters they soon began craving more time together. Love, hiding in everyday moments. Before long they were inseparable. Their souls recognized that they were on the same path. And they discovered that they could push boundaries together, explore the world, with the comfort of each other’s company. Aidan did not want to take this company for granted. So he gathered their families together in secret, and ushered Abbey to her favorite childhood retreat - her mother’s family farm. They walked hand in hand through the tall grass that morning, both with a sense of belonging. Barefoot, they ascended a cow pasture, perched in the rolling hills. As Abbey breathed in the blue skies, Aidan suddenly bent down on one knee. He recited his love for her, which could be faintly heard over Abbey’s beating heart. And he opened a small box, with a diamond ring shimmering in the midwest sun, a powerful symbol of their love. Abbey fell into his arms where they lay for a precious few unforgettable moments.
