Our story started like any fairytale you dream about… on a dating app. Our first date was meant just to be coffee but we spent the entire day together walking through a park, sitting in the public garden, getting dessert, and holding hands on the bus ride back home. From there the connection grew and faced with the possibility of being separated because of Visa dilemmas, we decided that despite the uncertainty of the future of our relationship, we wanted to stick together. After some luck, a whole lot of perseverance, and support from our friends and family, we ended up in Cairo together. We married on November 12, 2022, in a hectic municipal building in Cairo and are now looking forward to celebrating our love with all of you this January.
