We're Getting Married!

Kevin and Lauren met over 10 years ago at an art college party in Columbus, Ohio. They soon realized how much they had in common with each other. Like SO much in common that it was weird! Creepy weird! (We both had the same weird music taste, we both had broken only our front right toes, and the weird list goes on and on). We found ourselves talking to each other all the time and becoming inseparable. Fast forward to now...over 10 years later...we live in Seattle, Washington, added a furry family member (our dog Kota), and have both found a deep love for the outdoors and the Pacific Northwest. Even after a decade together, we're still the best of friends and seem to somehow fall even more in love with each other each and every day.

Kevin and Lauren went on a backpacking trip July of 2020 to the Core Enchantments - a beautiful place in Washington where you have to win a lottery in order to have permits to backpack there! We won the lottery in February, and Kevin said once he knew we won the Enchantments lottery, that was where he wanted to Propose. He proposed to Lauren while both of them were sitting by a beautiful, icy blue alpine lake in the Enchantments. Lauren sobbed her eyes out and said YES of course.
