Please arrive at the venue after 4:30 but before 5 pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00pm and doors will be closed for the duration of the ceremony.
Yes! The dress code is Black Tie. Our venue is the perfect backdrop for your fanciest clothes and dancing shoes! Tuxes, floor length gowns, and military uniforms are all acceptable.
Unfortunately, due to venue capacity limits, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation. While we wish we could include everyone, no additional guests can be accommodated, and only those named on the invitation will be able to attend. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
Given that our venue is an active museum, we are unable to include children in our celebration. We love your little ones and completely understand that this may put some of our guests in a tough position. Please contact Aesha or Ted if you are in need of a babysitting agency in Washington, D.C.
Yes! We have three hotel blocks that are walking distance to our wedding venue. Please see the "Travel" page for more information.
Transportation from the hotels will not be provided as all three hotel blocks are within walking distance to the venue. The Royal Sonesta - 3 minute walk The Ven at Embassy Row - 2 minute walk Dupont Circle Hotel - 8 minute walk Additionally, Ubers are very common in the D.C. area if you need a car. Please contact Aesha or Ted if you have any concerns about transportation.
Unfortunately parking is not available at our venue given it's location in the city. We recommend that you either uber to the venue or walk from the hotel blocks. However if you do need to drive, there is paid parking available at The Ven on Embassy Row.
