Our next adventure

It was June of 2020, pandemic was going strong and golf courses and outside dining was just available. Brandon (my brother) called and asked me if I wanted to go golfing with him and a buddy from work, because they'd be down near me at Blue Ridge and the other guys backed out. So, I figured sure what else do I have going on, everything has been closed. I'll spare everyone the gushy stuff, but I thought Angus was so great when I met him, that I'd try to play match maker!!! So, a month of telling Brandon how I wanted to set him up with a friend of mine and how his cornhole tournament would be the best place. July 18th we go to this tournament and it's the hottest day of the summer I swear, Angus was busy playing so there wasn't a lot of match making at that point. After the tournament we all get invited back to Brandon's house to use the pool. So needless the say neither he nor my friend had any interest in each other, as I didn't see him try to talk to her, nor her to him. So again when Angus asked for my number I didn't think anything of it, oh just another friend of B's that i'll be friends with. Except it wasn't the same, not from that day forward.
