Is Airport Transfer Included?

There are two options for Airport Transfers - A complimentary one where you'll be in a van with other guests going to the resort and a private VIP transfer. What should I wear?

You can wear shorts in all of the restaurants onsite except for the French Restaurant, which requires long pants or dresses. For the ceremony and reception, it's going to be warm, so please feel free to wear shorts or whatever you are comfortable in. Is "Beach Formal" a thing?

There are A LOT of room types. Where do I start?

Answer

There are a variety of room types available for 1-3 guests. Excellence Club is a reserved / upgraded area with access to additional pools and restaurants. We have travelled to an Excellence Resort in Cancun and did not pay for Excellence Club - We had a wonderful time. If you would like to upgrade, please feel free but it's not necessary, in our opinion.

What can I do during the day?

Answer

There is an abundance of entertainment on the resort but if you would like to get off of the resort grounds, you can do catamaran tours, ATV tours, explore private beaches, caves, and waterfalls, or just walk the beach. There is a spa onsite. We enjoyed a massage on the beach the last time that we stayed at an Excellence property and the hydrotherapy that you do before is AMAZING. We highly recommend it, if you can fit it in your schedule. This is YOUR vacation - We urge you to enjoy a romantic dinner with your significant other or explore the island as you wish. Vacation in your own style!

Do I need to exchange currency?

Answer

No. While DR does have its own currency, USD are accepted at the resort without exchange fees and servers are accustomed to receiving USD tips.

What do I need to bring?

Answer

Sunscreen. Appropriate attire (don't forget your party pants). It generally only drops to around 75 degrees in the summer. The ceremony and reception will both be outdoors. Beach towels are provided. There is a small market on the resort if you forget any items.

This is an adults-only resort. What if I want to bring my kids?

Answer
