Staying in Sonora (3 Miles from the Union Hill Inn): Formerly the Hotel Victoria, the Sonora Inn opened in April 1896 with 47 lodging rooms, a dining room, bar and billiard room and wine vaults in the basement. After Charles and Eric Segerstrom acquired the property, they completely remodeled it into the Spanish style we see today. The hotel reopened as the Sonora Inn in 1931. Located in the heart of downtown Sonora, there is plenty of history, art, live music, and nightlife. Head over to Sonora Brewing Co. for a cold pint or visit the Armory (one of Adrianne and my favorites!) for great food, cocktails, and a fantastic atmosphere. Rich in history, you can explore old gold mines, logging camps, or even go see Mark Twain’s cabin! Rooms at the Sonora Inn average $110 per night and is one of the closest hotels to the venue (3.2 Miles).

Staying in Jamestown (8 miles from The Union Hill Inn): Chicken Ranch Casino & Resort – The current casino here is undergoing a massive expansion to include a resort & spa. Slated to open July 2024, this is going to be a beautiful property. Room prices are currently unknown, but I suspect they will be reasonable. The Casino & Resort is in Jamestown, 8 miles from the wedding venue.
