It was Saturday, July 29, 2017, a beautiful sunny day on Long Island at the Levy household. It was also my dad's birthday! I was helping my dad set up for the pool party. My sister Ericka and her fiancé Noah at the time said that Eddie was going to come. Eddie has been a long-time friend of Noah's. Both my sister and Noah had been trying to set us up for ages. The day finally came when Eddie and I finally met. He arrived late as usual and immediately jumped into the pool and said hello to my dad and they hit it off great. Eddie introduced himself to me in the pool and we talked for a while. Throughout the entire day and night, he asked me if I needed help with anything. He ended up cutting my dad's birthday cake into pieces and our friend Dan said something along the lines of "you better leave before Neil wakes up." My dad actually woke up and found it funny. I realized at that moment, Eddie had been officially welcomed into the Levy family in a classic and funny Levy way. The next day Eddie and I had our first official date at Munday's for brunch in Huntington Village. We decided to become an official couple within 24 hours, which made it very special and unique. We decided that July 30th would be our official anniversary date. We never needed time to decide when the relationship would be official. We knew like Adriana's parents who met in Martinique that we were going to be together. Adriana's dad followed her mom back to England from Martinique and similarly, Adriana shortly after, came out to California to see Eddie for the first time.
