We're happy you're here

Well... we had seen each other a time or two before we had officially met. So we actually met through a mutual friend at my first job. It was a little funny because I would get all nervous when he would come in. And he was just as nervous. He would walk in, hand me what he needed to hand me, and make a B-line straight to our friends office. Then when he left, our friend would find a way to tell me about how great of a guy Brandon was and how I should let him exchange our numbers for us. This went on for a while and it turns out he was doing the same thing to Brandon about me. Finally, the moment I had been waiting on, Brandon reached out. We actually talked a little back and fourth in 2020, but that was a scary and busy year for him and we lost touch. We didn't talk for about another year. But we went on our first date at the beginning of April 2021 and here we are over 2 years later and I couldn't imagine a life without my best friend.
