In the midst of COVID, a certain dating app decided to expand its radius to unlimited. This oddity allowed the most peculiar thing to happen: a brave boy from Ohio decided to swipe right on a girl from Oklahoma. He decided to message first. The girl, tired of "hey, wyd"s, was refreshed at an actual attempt at a conversation. That conversation would continue for five whole days until switching to texting, which turned into hours of FaceTime-ing. Finally, after some drama and Adrian's brinksmanship, Adrian hopped in her car and drove the 913 miles to go see about a boy. As she was pulling up, Tyler was convinced he was going to vomit from the anxiety. They officially met face to face on December 24th, 2020. Adrian met Tyler's family, and they had a calm, quiet Christmas together. That solidified their relationship. Adrian went back to Oklahoma, and they resumed their constant calls and texts. Tyler came to visit Adrian and meet Gavin in February 2021. He unfortunately brought the snow with him, and we had an unseasonable blizzard, prolonging his trip. (Oh darn.) It wasn't long before Adrian would be back to Ohio though, as a trip was planned for Spring Break. As we tiptoed close to Spring Break, the distance was getting uncomfortable. Things in Ohio weren't super great for Ty, so Adrian asked a simple question: why don't we just get a U-Haul now instead of June? So they did. Tyler packed up everything, gathered Sox, his boxer, and they rented a U-Haul for Adrian to drive back to Oklahoma. Tyler adjusted to the Oklahoma weather, and everyone adjusted to having one more person around. Tyler and Adrian have had some hiccups along the road like any couple. Parenting, cohabitation, scheduling, all the normal life events. Tyler's work often had him leaving for weeks at a time, however Adrian and Gavin always made sure to see him whenever able. On Christmas Eve 2021, the one year anniversary of getting to finally hug each other, Tyler proposed to Adrian.
