Hotel
We have a hotel block reserved at the Courtyard in the East Village of Downtown Long Beach. It's a nice, casual hotel and was newly remodeled, there is a great bar and a virtual Top Golf room that can be rented out! Our rate is available for Friday - Sunday. Pending availability you can also book the same rate for 2 days before or after. If you are looking to book early or late you'll need to call the hotel directly to make the change for additional days. You can also email our contact: Michelle.Shintaku@marriott.com This hotel is about a 3 min drive, 15 min walk to our wedding venue, and about a 15 min drive to our welcome drinks. The East Village of Long Beach is our Arts District, check out some of the cool bars, coffee shops, food options and murals in the surrounding area!
House Or Rental
There are a number of great Airbnb options in Long beach for small, medium and large groups. Check out our favorite neighborhoods like Bluff Park, Belmont Heights, Belmont shores, and Bluff Heights (where we live!) See a few examples in the Airbnb wishlist below.
Flight
Long Beach is accessible from Long Beach Airport (LGB), Santa Ana Airport (SNA) & LAX. Flying into Long Beach and Santa Ana are easiest if you are traveling from in state or the west coast. LAX is your best bet if traveling from farther away, but worth checking all three. Drive times from Airports to the Venue: LGB to Wedding venue: 15 min SNA to Wedding venue: 30-35 min LAX to Wedding venue: 40-60+ min (dependent on time of day traffic)
Travel Note
If you are coming from out of town, depending on your size of group you may or may not want to rent a car. If you are flying in to LAX with a large group, or plan to take a day trip somewhere nearby, it may be helpful to rent a car. Depending on where you are staying, Long Beach can be very walkable! There are often coffee shops, restaurants and more just a few blocks away. It's also very easy and affordable to get Ubers around town.
