We’re getting married!

Dara and Ryan met on a cold winter night a few years ago at a bar called the Happiest Hour in West Village. After a long night of drinks and orange wine, they both realized this was something special. What followed were double dates at Raoul's with Teddy and Molly, the Italian Rave/ the Seashell with Gaffney and Amanda, and endless nights on the couch in 100 Jane with Jamie, where Ryan would beg Jamie for her leftovers before she even finished eating. Dara and Ryan's relationship continued to grow into an unbreakable love, with fun trips to Montreal, Aruba, Napa, Greece, Israel (for an amazing wedding!), Iceland, and LBI. It included watching dear friends get married in Maine, Newport, and Chicago, BBQs and dinners in Bed Stuy, many nights on the couch eating pad see ew together, lots of pickleball, ice cream dates (Ryan insists on always sharing but lets Dara pick the flavors), and getting to know each others' families. Ryan actually made a mess in Ronnee's kitchen the first time they met (and was rumored to have left the toilet seat up a few times) but has since recovered - she now adores her future son-in-law for the gem he is! The couple has since moved to Tribeca, but every year on their anniversary, they go back to the Happiest Hour to celebrate. On May 17, 2024, Ryan proposed in the garden in front of it, called Jefferson Market Garden (Miranda and Steve in Sex & the City got married there!). Ryan wanted to propose in a place that meant a lot to the couple before jet-setting to Paris to celebrate.
