The concept of a relationship began to develop when Adel shared a photo of herself in a WhatsApp group of which Maribel is a member. Impressed by what she observed, Maribel reached out to a mutual friend to express her intentions. A couple of days later, this friend facilitated communication between the two. Following three continuous days of communication, Adel traveled from New Jersey to Texas to Maribel. The rest is history.

First comes a distance relationship in 2016, engagement in 2018, moving in together in 2019, getting engaged again in 2023(Mary proposed) and 2024(Adel proposed) then getting married in 2024.
