Welcome to the UK! Upon landing in London there are two main ways to get to Kent. You can rent a car directly from the airport and follow directions to Eastwell Manor. Keep in mind that you'll be driving on the right side of the car and road! Secondly, you can take a train directly from London Heathrow or London Gatwick to the nearby Ashford International Station. Lastly, there are car services for hire. Please see 'Travel' page
Yes, shuttles will be provided for all of our wedding guests. They will be leaving Eastwell Manor in two groups: one at 2:30 and one at 3:15. They will also be returning to Eastwell Manor at the end of the night.
The nearby larger town of Ashford has several taxi companies. However, there are no Uber or Lyft's in this area of England. We encourage you to call & schedule taxi services in advance to be safe
Yes, we have a casual welcome event for those in town on Thursday and a Sunday Roast planned for guests still in town on Sunday. Please check the schedule tab for details.
The British countryside can be a bit of a toss up for weather this time of the year. However, August is typically known to be the warmest and sunniest month of the year. We're hoping for a sunny summer day in the 70s F but are also planning for the worst, which would be scattered rainfall. We'll be monitoring this very closely and will communicate out any weather changes that we see to our guests ASAP.
