Originally matching on Bumble during the summer of 2018, fate brought us back together a few short months later on Hinge in January 2019. Hinge suggested that we would be a good match (guess they were onto something?) Danny remembered Chelsea from the first match (specifically our shared love of halal and karaoke) and soon after that, we had our first date on January 16, 2019. Since Chelsea was attempting to do Dry January (aka wasn't drinking), Danny found a unique bakery that was also a bar, Butter & Scotch. After a few hours of seamless conversation, Danny kissed Chelsea outside the bar for the first time and we made plans later that night to see each other again the following Sunday (less than a week after the first date!) As of March 16, 2019 we were officially official with Chelsea telling her friends that she’d “be surprised if Danny wasn’t the one” Fast forward to March 16, 2020, when we celebrated our one year anniversary in lockdown and spent the next 4 months practically living together in Danny's one bedroom DUMBO apartment, walking to get a slice of Norm's pizza and Dunkin’ Donuts almost every weekend. Two years later in May 2022, we formally moved into a new apartment together in Park Slope and Chelsea saved hundreds of dollars no longer Ubering between apartments. On May 27, 2023, Danny got down on one knee on a rainy, but incredibly special day in their favorite place to be outside of NYC - Savannah, GA. We spent the rest of the weekend celebrating! And now we can't wait to celebrate our wedding with all of you on May 3rd, 2025 at The Wythe Hotel!
