Yes, The Lucy (our reception venue) is following current City of Philadelphia Covid guidelines which require each guest to show their vaccination card at the door.
Per the Covid guidelines established by the City of Philadelphia, staff at The Lucy will not be able to admit anyone without a vaccination card. You’ll be able to attend the wedding ceremony at St. John’s, but will not be able to attend the reception.
Yes, there is public parking across the street from St. John’s in the Wanamaker Building. There is also parking at the Loews Hotel which is 2 blocks from the church. There is a discounted parking rate for Loews overnight guests so make sure you tell the front desk you’re part of the D’Luzansky/Neri wedding block when they validate your ticket.
Guests will need to find their own way to the ceremony. The church is only about 2 blocks from the Loews, so guests staying there can easily walk. Other guests should plan to use Lyft (more reliable in Philly than Uber) or drive and park in the Wanamaker garage across from the church.
Yes, there are many public parking garages in Center City near The Lucy. We recommend the garages at either the Doubletree or Cambria hotels as those are closest.
The wedding party will be taking photos for an hour or so after the ceremony. During that time, guests can either return to their hotels or explore Center City until the reception starts at The Lucy at 5pm. We will be offering Cescaphe trolley service after the ceremony back to the Loews, Doubletree and Cambria hotels from St. John’s.
Yes, Cescaphe Trolleys will be available for transportation from the Loews Hotel to the reception and back again at the end of the night.
Yes, it is a 2 block walk from the main entrance of the Loews. When you exit the Loews on Market Street, go left and then another left on 13th Street. St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church is on the left. We’ve included the map at the top of the page for reference.
Only if you’re up for a 15 minute walk and the weather isn’t too cold. Otherwise we recommend taking a Lyft.
Yes, it is about a 15 minute walk, but you may want to consider using Lyft if it’s very cold. You will take a left on Market Street as you exit the main entrance of the Loews. Take a left on 13th Street and pass St. Johns. Take a right on Chestnut and a left on S. Broad Street. The Lucy is at 231 S. Broad Street.
