Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Early RSVPs are appreciated! Please RSVP no later than 01/11/2025.

Question

What happens if I don't RSVP on time?

Answer

Sadly, if we don't hear from you by the RSVP date, we will have to reluctantly mark it as a "No" for the ceremony and dinner. We will miss your presence; however, the venue's clock waits for no one, and our final guest counts have to be turned in. Please reach out to us as soon as possible if you have any issues with the RSVP process.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they would appear under your name when you RSVP. We want to keep our wedding intimate with our closest family and friends.

Can we bring our children?

Answer

We love having so many wonderful people in our lives, including your kiddos. We want everyone to kick back, unwind, and savor the evening without any tiny tornadoes in tow. Thanks for your understanding and planning accordingly! Our families' littles get a special pass and are listed on invites and RSVP page. Please be aware that the music will not be fully monitored for explicit content.

Are you registered?

Answer

While gifts are lovely, we're dreaming of exploring new places and adventures together! Help fuel our honeymoon dreams with contributions to our 'Adventure Fund' instead of traditional registry gifts. Your support will ensure we have the trip of a lifetime and memories (and pictures!) to share when we return. All registry information is available on the registry tab of this website. Locally, we are registered at Bekah Kate's in Baraboo.

Is there a suggested attire?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family dress up with us! From cocktail dresses to nice jeans, please dress in what you feel best in. To let the bride have her special day, we kindly ask that you avoid outfits that are largely white or ivory in color.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Immediate family and the bridal party will be taking pictures around the venue for about an hour following the ceremony. Ceremony guests are welcome to enjoy cocktail hour with drinks and appetizers. For those joining us after the ceremony, please arrive any time after 5:00 PM for cocktail hour! The grand entrance will be around 6:00 PM immediately followed by dinner. We ask for guests to be seated no later than 5:45 PM.

Are pictures and videos allowed during the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Our ceremony will be mostly unplugged. There will be a special pause to capture the moment and then we kindly ask that no phones be used for the remainder of the ceremony (we hired professionals for this!). As soon as the ceremony ends ... snap away and help us Capture the Love! QR codes will be placed around the venue. Please use them to transform your device into a disposable camera - no app download required!

Is there a fee for parking?

Answer

Parking is free! If needed, you are welcome to leave your vehicle in the parking lot overnight.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There is a small hotel in Hillsboro; we've also offered a few other options on the travel tab of this website.

What's on the menu?

Answer

You can look forward to beef tips in gravy, cheese lasagna rolls with tomato and roasted red pepper sauce, mashed yukon gold potatoes, green beans almondine, and a house salad. And for the kiddos: chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, and french fries.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Absolutely! Get ready to toast the night away, courtesy of us. Our hosted bar will include a couple beer and wine options. Just a head-up though, once we hit max capacity, the hosted taps go dry. Non-alcoholic beverages will be hosted all night - including HBC's root beer...it's so good! A full cash bar will also be available for cocktails and any non-hosted HBC brews you'd like to enjoy.
