After a decade of acting as ships passing in the night -- a tale involving USC close encounters and Bumble ghostings -- Sam and Adam finally met the modern way: through an app's algorithm. Adam asked Sam what education public relations is (a valid question), and Sam was intrigued by Adam's selfie with an otter. Their first date involved six hours at a sushi restaurant, which only ended because the wait staff kindly kicked them out as it was midnight and they were closing. They saw each other again a mere 48 hours later, and the rest is history. They are thrilled to be getting married, though argue that they have already taken the greatest commitment pledge of all: adopting a puppy together.
